Environmental Crimes Against Humanity

The following e mail was sent on Wednesday the 4th of Mar 2009 with the end goal of creating an International Criminal Court for Environmental Crimes Against Humanity. At present political leaders and their supporter can be subject to prosecution for war crimes and crimes against humanity. In 1996 the use of rape as an instrument of war was recognized as a war crime because of the atrocities in the former Yugoslavia.

Environmental Crimes Against Humanity as it is presently envisioned, entails political and corporate leaders and their supporters who have sabotaged the introduction of climate stewardship policy, or the regulation of genetic modified organisms, chemicals, nano technology or trade legislation using fraudulent science, censorship of research and the removal of political appointees.

Sabotage: noun any underhand interference with production, work, or legislation in a plant, factory, as by enemy agents often portrayed to occurring during wartime or by employees during a trade dispute. As well as any act undermining of a cause, to injure or attack, disable, vandalize, cripple.

What comes to mind for most people is the use of explosives to sabotage a rail line, a bridge. Sabotage in the case of environmental crimes against humanity entails acts that hinder the development and implementation of policies using criminal values of deceit, deceptions to delay, or cripple the legislative process. Advertising designed to fool people about the unsustainable, toxic, lethal or harmful nature of a corporations business plan can also be seen as attempting to sabotage the goal of living sustainably on our planet, especially if human mental and physical health and the environment is harmed.

Fraudulent science entails paying scientists or those who are clearly not qualified to perform climate, chemical or rick assessment research with the objective of delaying the political process by creating doubt about reputable science. Censorship entails the act by politicians, corporate leaders and employees that have prohibiting research or the suppressed the release of research.

Examples of environmental crimes against humanity will be given in future posting as well as the individual who have committed these acts but have yet to face criminal prosecution

Good Day Prime Minister Stephen Harper

I consider the destabilisation of our planets climate to be a global environmental crime against humanity and our planets ability to sustain life.

A group best described as radical fundamentalist capitalists have been using economic theories that are committing not only massive financial accounting fraud that has wrecked the global economy but also global ecological accounting fraud that is wreaking our planet’s climate and ability to sustain life.

Your government has committed to be tough on crime, does that include corporate crime? Do you believe that individuals who have used fraudulent science in an attempt to sabotage climate polices should be subject to criminal prosecution?

I am writing to request your support for the creation of an International Criminal Court to prosecute individuals who have attempted to sabotage global climate negotiations using fraudulent financial accounting as to the costs of living sustainably. As well those who are permitting the unsustainably plundering our oceans fish stocks? The politicians that are permitting the Mediterranean blue fin Tuna to be plundered to commercial extinction by corporations should face criminal prosecution for using criminal negligence to manage our ecological resources. We have destabilised our planets ozone layer, and the birth ration of males and females using the fraudulent science of the chemical corporations. The advocates of nano technology must not be permitted to use fraudulent science as to their benefit while failing to investigate their hazards. How much nano technology do you want in your children’s bodies along with the hundreds of chemical that will eventually enter their body?

We will not survive if there is not criminal prosecution to counter the short-term financial rewards of sabotaging global environmental stewardship policies using fraudulent science.

What perspective is your government using to address the corporate manufactured ignorance that has created a cult that believes that monster homes, monster vehicles, and monster ecological footprints are economically viable, environmentally sustainable and ethical.

I hope you realize that the calls for environmental justice are not going to get away and for politicians to remain legitimate representatives of the citizens of this planet they will have to embark on addressing the deceitful, callous values that the present hijacked version of capitalism has become. Externalities where by peoples lives are ruined, through negligence must not continue to be views as too expensive or that will some how be addressed in time by the invisible hand in the market.

We are being sold on the agenda the oil sands must continue to expand. The ultimate test of the values system your government is using is whether our plant’s climate can continue to sustain life, not sustain the values of the criminal negligent corporate agenda.

The sabotage of our planets climate using deceit, and fraudulent science is a global environmental crime against humanity.
