Promis of Accountable and Transparent Government

Good day Prime Minister Stephen Harper

I am writing to express my concern that you are not living up to your promise to bring in accountable and transparent government. This has been confirmed with the recent Auditor General report that has indicated that $ 1,500,000,000 was transferred to provinces for environmental programs with out requirements for transparency and accountability.
With out transparency and accountability Canada's financial resources have been the subject of abuse and fraud. With this having occurred in the past it is disappointing that your government would act so carelessly when overseeing the management of our finances.
What actions will your government be taking to ensure transparency and accountable management of Canada’s finances and environmental resources to a level of integrity that future reports to parliament and audits will indicate they are being honestly managed.?

Trust must be earned, and this audit does not increase my trust in the values your government is using to fulfill your promise of open accountable government.

That being said I am interested in the status of the actions your government has taken to date to implement transparent and accountable government as it appears much more needs to be done?
